strength

I learned the most difficult lesson of my life yesterday.

I can lead you.  I can help you.  I can support you.  I can encourage, hold your hand and love you with all I have.  I can advocate on your behalf.  What I cannot do is make you want change for yourself.

“Tenderness and kindness are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations of strength and resolution.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

Sounds like you had a big day yesterday. It sucks that certain things have to happen to teach us life lessons. I hope you and your daughter are o.k.

    Thinking of you,

Peculiar though it might be, traits considered undesirable in ourselves are often recognized as a strength in others. Perhaps that might be a way to show this someone what you see, by reflecting those qualities in others. Often times people are hardest on themselves, unforgiving and unaccepting. Sad, but true.

Hope you guys are still moving on forward, that things are steadily getting better, and that you may have a lovely weekend, xo

I open my arms to love. However, I’ve heard sometimes love will smack you over the head with a change purse. I’m just saying.

Hey, race you to fedex. I hear Emily Booth may be there. 😉

and when a person is able to see what she, herself, has to do, she will remember those who love and support her…
